Great little app from the inkodye people . . .
Some things you should know before you jump into the water . . . First you’ll be working with a SQUARE format, so if you import an image from yer camera roll, make sure you allow for Lumi’s square format. The Lumi cam shoots in a square format.
Number two: the app will crash . . . if yer image has too much data it will overload the app and it will crash . . . remember, this ain’t no super computer at Lawrence Livermore, so . . .
The inkjet process for generating a negative is a bit too . . . too “process-y” for me, so I would opt for spending $7 and get an 12″ X 12″ film neg from the Lumi people.
If you want posterized images or halftone dots . . . u-u-uh . . . well . . .
This is a nice app for beginners in alternative photo processing – if you’ve never messed with color separated imagery or been in a REAL darkroom this is your ticket to freedom and fame in the social media fast lane . . .
